Alyssa Trujillo

Trust Officer

In 2018, Alyssa graduated from the University of New Mexico with her bachelor’s degree in political science. She joins Cardinal Trust with eight years of experience working in trust and estate administration. She spent five (5) years working as a trust and probate paralegal at one of Albuquerque’s most reputable estate planning law firms. Most recently, she spent three (3) years working as a Trust Officer for a local independent trust company.

During her time as a Trust Officer, Alyssa administered countless trusts and estates with diversified asset portfolios and diverse beneficiaries. She also specialized in ensuring that all legal and regulatory compliance was followed in accordance with the New Mexico Financial Institutions Division.

Alyssa’s passion for trust and estate administration started at a young age. She witnessed the turmoil and conflict some families go through during the administration of a loved one’s estate. She uses her personal experience to ensure her clients feel their voices are heard and their feelings are valid. Alyssa is committed to providing her clients with personalized customer service and a strong understanding of the technical aspects of trust and estate administration.

Currently, Alyssa is pursuing her master’s degree in business administration and attending Cannon Trust School.

Alyssa is a proud wife to a local first responder and the mother of two young children. In her free time, she enjoys camping, fishing, and hiking with her family at their land in Ensenda, NM. roles as a highly experienced court-appointed conservator, personal representative, daily money manager and power-of-attorney liaison.
